Helping Maynard Schools Achieve Excellence by Building a Strong Community
Michelle L. Grace
Michelle truly enjoys and appreciates the wonderful Green Meadow Community---children, parents, educators, staff---and she is excited for the opportunity to serve on the GMPTO board and help organize programs to support the educational process and foster community. She also looks forward to meeting all the “friends she has not met yet” at the Green Meadow School.
Jen’s husband Jon loved living in Maynard as a kid so when they were ready to start a family-- off to Maynard they went! For the last eight years Jen, Jon, Harry (second grade) and Shagen (kindergarten) have been reaping the benefits that Maynard has to offer. A self-proclaimed juggernaut, Jen looks forward to focusing her energy on the Green Meadow PTO.
John Cafarella will serve as the Treasurer of the Green Meadow PTO for the school year 2012/2013. This is John’s first year as Treasurer. John and his wife, Beth moved to Maynard in 2002. Their Daughter, Julia is in Second grade and she loves Green Meadow School. John has volunteered at Green Meadow many times since his daughter started at GMS, most notably for the Spring Auction where he helped with his daughter’s Kindergarten and First grade class projects as well as set-up for the Auction and as cashier at the end of the evening. He looks forward to the year ahead and meeting new people.
